The music of the Watchmen is looking good. An announcement this week on who will compose the films music."Tyler Bates, a composer best known for his collaborations with Zack Snyder and Rob Zombie, has been chosen to provide the score for the upcoming adaptation of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons's Watchmen. Comingsoon reports that Snyder has recruited the man who scored 300, saying about that earlier project "It moves the film into mythology cauterizing the images as you view them, making them something they could never be alone." Bates has also written the music for Dawn of the Dead (2004), Halloween (2007), The Devil's Rejects, and Zombie's Werewolf Women of the SS trailer from Grindhouse." (source)
